How the research group - Modern Power Transmission Grids is linked to AAU Energy missions

Transmission grids connect generation, storage and consumers in one of the most complex man-made systems. The green transition via society’s electrification rests on a resilient, stable and efficient transmission grid. Our group will help the integration of new renewable generation solutions, the addition of large-scale storage to electric grids, the realization of energy islands, all while assuring a resilient and efficient grid operation for an increasing consumption.
