Introduction to hydrogen and electro-fuels

The "hydrogen and electro-fuels" research group focuses on the entire hydrogen value chain, from renewable electricity generation to hydrogen utilization, including the production of various hydrogen-based fuels, energy storage and grid balancing.

Over more than 20 years of research the group has supported the development of hydrogen related technologies in cooperation with industrial partners and other universities and research institutions.

The work is mainly focused on electrochemical and thermochemical reactors where we work from microscale to application-level scale across the hydrogen value chain.
