Course Introduction

  • State-of-the-art synergy applications of artificial intelligence in power electronics among lifecycles of system design, control and maintenance, including but not limited to the latest research outcomes from the Department of Energyat Aalborg University.
  • 3 full-day course with lecture sessions + in-class exercises
  • Second version in 2023, 29 PhD students/engineers/scientists have participated in first version in 2022.
  • Certificate of participation with 3 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)

  • Fundamentals of AI tools and data analytic techniques for power electronic applications
  • Digital-twin for intelligent condition monitoring of power converter
  • Neural Network-assisted thermal modeling of power modules
  • AI-based design and implementation of model predictive control for power electronic systems
  • Physics-informed machine learning and outlooks on synergy of AI and power electronics

Registration fee: DKK 6,000 for PhD students outside of Denmark and DKK 8,000 for the Industry excl. VAT;
no-show fee of DKK 3,000 for each course; cancellations are accepted no later than 2 weeks before the course.
